
Bacteriostatic Water
Description
Bacteriostatic Water (BAC Water) is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative. It is the standard diluent used for reconstituting lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides before administration.
Storage
Store at room temperature (15-30°C / 59-86°F). After first use, discard after 28 days. Keep away from direct sunlight.
Usage Instructions
- Use an alcohol swab to clean the vial stopper before each use
- Draw the desired amount using a sterile syringe
- Inject slowly into the peptide vial along the glass wall
- Gently swirl (do not shake) until fully dissolved
- Store reconstituted peptides in the refrigerator (2-8°C)
