Bacteriostatic Water

Bacteriostatic Water

Description

Bacteriostatic Water (BAC Water) is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative. It is the standard diluent used for reconstituting lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides before administration.

Storage

Store at room temperature (15-30°C / 59-86°F). After first use, discard after 28 days. Keep away from direct sunlight.

Usage Instructions

  • Use an alcohol swab to clean the vial stopper before each use
  • Draw the desired amount using a sterile syringe
  • Inject slowly into the peptide vial along the glass wall
  • Gently swirl (do not shake) until fully dissolved
  • Store reconstituted peptides in the refrigerator (2-8°C)

Key Features

  • Sterile: Pharmaceutical-grade manufacturing
  • Preserved: 0.9% benzyl alcohol prevents microbial growth
  • Multi-use: Can be used multiple times within 28 days
  • Compatible: Suitable for reconstituting most research peptides
